- Delivering thoughtful, proactive, and professional guest service at all times
- Possessing full knowledge of beverage menus, including garnishes, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Preparing craft cocktails and mixed beverages to standard, while maintaining inventory controls
- Informing and assisting guests with menu items in an engaging and helpful manner
- Identifying and communicating dietary restrictions and allergies to the kitchen team as needed
- Handling guest concerns graciously and efficiently, ensuring service recovery and continuous improvement
- Maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the bar, mise en place, side stations, and lounge setup
- Supporting colleagues by running food, refreshing beverages, and resetting tables as required
- Ensuring furniture and the bar area are consistently clean, inviting, and aligned with brand standards
- Accurately handling billing, applying promotions, and communicating Hotel offerings
- Following all health, safety, and sanitation policies related to food and beverage handling
- Completing additional tasks as assigned to contribute to overall guest satisfaction and team success
- At least one year of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or bar
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, cocktails, and specialty coffee preparation
- A service-oriented mindset and the ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional under pressure
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A team-oriented approach and the ability to work cohesively with others
- A high level of reliability, with impeccable grooming and professional conduct
- Valid Serving It Right certification
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 30 lbs
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, and pulling
- Regular ascending or descending of stairs, ramps, or ladders
- Dexterity and physical stamina to manage high-volume drink service, including lifting and carrying trays of beverages and bar supplies
