  • Job Description
As an engineer working as part of the Intelligent Mobility Systems team, you will join a diverse group implementing technologies to improve the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of transportation networks. You will work at the intersection of several fields related to passenger and freight transportation systems. You will contribute to multidisciplinary projects such as transportation electrification, intelligent mobility, public transit, and the development of technological solutions.Primary Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of market studies related to intelligent transportation systems
  • Conduct feasibility studies on various technological approaches, considering technology capabilities, past ITS deployment experience, costs, and regulatory and standards requirements
  • Contribute to the preparation of tender documents, analyze bids, and develop decision summaries for contract awards by governing bodies
  • Assist in report preparation and support the team during business and project meetings: prepare technical reports and presentations, take notes, and produce technical meeting minutes
  • Participate in field surveys and oversee electrical and/or telecommunications work
  • Contribute to research and development: engage in research to identify new solutions or improvements in the ITS field
  • Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or in the process of becoming one
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field
  • Excellent writing skills in French
  • Bilingual (English/French): bilingualism is essential for this engineering role to ensure effective collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory agencies across the country
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with autonomy, attention to detail, and commitment to quality work
  • Highly developed organizational skills, with project management and follow-up abilities
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
