Adecco is recruiting for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Project Lead on behalf of our client, with opportunities based in Kitchener, Burlington, or Toronto, ON. This full-time role involves leading a variety of geotechnical construction projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in mentoring project teams, driving technical excellence, and fostering strong client relationships.Pay Rate: Competitive Base Salary + Bonus + Benefits + Vacation + Hybrid + Stocks + RSP + other perksLocation: Kitchener, Burlington, or Toronto, ONJob type: Permanent | Full-timeResponsibilities:Lead geotechnical construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring all milestones are met.Oversee day-to-day site activities, including resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of subcontractors.Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and feasibility.Track project progress, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and cost targets are maintained.Act as the primary point of contact with clients, consultants, municipal authorities, and regulatory bodies.Provide guidance, training, and support to field teams and junior project managers.Identify potential issues early and implement proactive solutions to reduce risk.Manage inspections, testing, and quality control processes to ensure compliance.Maintain adherence to health and safety standards under OHSA and company requirements.Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including progress updates, change requests, and close-out packages.Requirements:Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.At least 10 years' experience overseeing construction projects or supervising sites.Thorough knowledge of construction methods, contract management, and health and safety legislation.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical reports.Skilled in MS Office applications; experience with MS Project or Primavera and familiarity with AutoCAD are considered assets.Holds a valid driver's license and has reliable transportation.Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.Able to pass a Criminal Record Check completed within the past 6 months.Standard First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.Don't miss out on this Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Project Lead position in Kitchener, Burlington, or Toronto, ON.
