- Provide constant leadership in health and safety in order to meet the highest industry standards;
- Lead safety breaks and actively participate in coordination meetings, at the start of the shift, with the OHS team;
- Supervise, organize and actively manage workers in order to optimize performance and quality of work execution;
- Actively participate in planning the work of subcontractors, different specialties and other trades in collaboration with the superintendent;
- Ensure you have the tools, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work within the required timeframes based on the plans and specifications;
- Write, prepare and manage technical and administrative documents (daily work reports, timesheets for your team and subcontractors);
- Master the reading and application of plans and specifications for work relating to your specialty;
- Ensure compliance with the rules relating to environmental issues on the site;
- Ensure rigorous quality monitoring throughout the project, with your team and subcontractors;
- Promote teamwork and encourage collaboration, demonstrate positive leadership and maintain a pleasant working climate;
- Perform all other related tasks related to operations.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering including 2 years as a road foreman;
- A valid CCQ card
- A valid driving license - Class 5
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great mastery of reading plans and specifications and managing priorities
- Technological skills
