- Prototype analytical tools and methods developed by the engineering and analytics teams, prior to production deployment
- Implement automation scripts and workflows that support renewable energy analysts in their day-to-day work
- Test analytical outputs against real asset data, validate logic, flag anomalies, document findings
- Collaborate with senior developers and analysts to iterate quickly on prototypes based on feedback
- Contribute to internal technical documentation for prototyped tools and methods
- Participate in sprint planning and scoping to understand priorities and timelines
- Surface practical observations from prototyping work that improve the final product
- Hands-on experience in at least one programming language, Python strongly preferred
- An analytical mindset, comfortable working with messy data and finding what matters
- Genuine curiosity about how things work, and why they sometimes don't
- Clear written and verbal communication in English, you'll need to explain what you built and what you found
- Comfort operating with some ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to renewable energy (wind or solar) even academic or personal interest counts
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Matplotlib, Plotly, Tableau, or similar)
- Experience with version control (Git) and agile workflows
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs, or workflow tools (e.g. Airflow)
- Experience with Go, gRPC, or cloud-based data platforms
