- Actively drive external event and banquet sales through outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship-building
- Research, identify, and develop new corporate, social, and group business through both outside and inside sales efforts
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new clients, repeat guests, and referral partners
- Drive incremental revenue growth by increasing booking frequency, average spend, and long-term client retention
- Identify and penetrate key industries, associations, and community groups through targeted outreach and strategic partnerships
- Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and community engagements
- Develop and execute quarterly and annual sales plans, including revenue targets, forecasts, and budgets
- Create and execute creative sales initiatives, promotions, and segmentation strategies to maximize opportunities across all channels
- Own the full client journey from initial inquiry through contract, execution, and post-event follow-up
- Deliver exceptional customer service that converts first-time bookers into loyal repeat clients
- Proactively upsell and cross-sell event enhancements to increase event value
- Maintain accurate account management, contracts, and reporting
- Direct and oversee event execution at an exceptional level while adhering to all company standards, policies, and procedures
- Lead, coach, and mentor the banquet and events team; identify and develop future leaders
- Collaborate closely with Culinary, General Manager, Director of Events, restaurant leaders, and hotel partners to deliver flawless events
- Manage banquet inventory planning, labor controls, and expert scheduling
- Ensure quality assurance across all events and guest touchpoints
- Attend and lead weekly BEO meetings with the Chef to ensure culinary excellence and alignment
