Posted by:Active: TodayWe need a reliable, experienced part-time live-out nanny to serve as a third helping hand in our family. Situated in Kanata, we require someone capable of supporting after-school pickups and preparations for after-school activities. Our family is comprised of two lovely boys aged 3 and 8. Our 3-year-old attends daycare, while our 8-year-old is in grade 3 with aftercare. We're a no pet, non-smoking household balancing two busy professional lives, hence we seek a reliable person who, ideally, can drive to our place, and then help with light housekeeping, doing the kids' laundry, etc before picking up the 8-year-old from aftercare. The nanny would then need to pick up our toddler from his daycare, bring both boys home, get them fed and settled into some activity (no screens), prepare the 8 year old's lunch for the next day, and engage in playtime with them until we get home. While we do have a packed schedule, we assure a competitive salary based on experience and reliability. The ideal candidate should have their own car to drive to our place (though our car will be available for the job), and be ready to work from 1:30pm-6:00pm (Monday to Thursday), and on Friday from 3:30pm-9:30pm. However, we can discuss adjusting the day of the late shift based on the kids' activities and for the right person's convenience. But a late shift once a week is essential. Job responsibilities will also mainly running errands, grocery shopping, light meal preparation, helping with homework, and maintaining a tidy kitchen. We believe in keeping the focus on our children once they're home, so starting earlier to complete household chores is required so the focus can be on the kids once home.
