- Perform preprocessing and quality control of single-cell and bulk sequencing datasets.
- Conduct downstream analyses such as dimensionality reduction, clustering, differential expression/methylation analysis, and cell type annotation, among others.
- Integrate multi-sample and multi-modal datasets (e.g., scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq) using Seurat or related tools.
- Generate publication-quality visualizations (e.g., UMAP/t-SNE plots, heatmaps, violin plots).
- Assist in the interpretation of results and contribute to biological insights.
- Collaborate with experimental researchers to design analyses and validate findings.
- Maintain reproducible workflows and well-documented code (e.g., R scripts, R Markdown, Git).
- Support preparation of figures, reports, and manuscripts.
- Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics or a related field, or recognized equivalent.
- Working experience with single-cell analysis workflows in Seurat. Experience must be through real-world projects.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and high-performance computing (HPC).
- Understanding of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data and single-cell genomics concepts.
- Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis techniques.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and data integrity.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively within a supervisory structure, and meet project deadlines.
