Job Description:Our well established manufacturing client located in the Kawarthas' is looking for their next Costing Manager to help support their Accounting Team and growing organization and you will working in great work environment that promotes work/life balance and with a supportive ManagerKey Functions:
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost and inventory accounting
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis related to costs.
  • Provide cost analysis for pricing decisions, product line profitability, and margin improvement.
  • Develop, implement and monitor cost standards for products and operations.
  • Conduct BOM and routing reviews to align with actual production processes
  • Track inventory movements and ensure accurate costing of WIP and finished Goods
  • Support Sales Analyst with development of a Pricing Calculator
Requirements:Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Strong MS Excel and data visualization tools / Power BI).
  • Accounting degree in Finance, or related field (CMA preferred or working towards and experience).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, in a industrial / manufacturing or machinery or environment.
  • Strong knowledge/practical experience in cost accounting principles, GAAP and inventory accounting.
  • Exposure of Lean Manufacturing or some knowledge of Six Sigma principles ( asset )
