This opportunity is in Burnaby, where we are constructing a new maintenance operations structure for our partners. We are open to Apprentice and Journeyman applicants!WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHHeavy Civil - Industrial, Infrastructure, and Roadwork ConstructionForming, Stripping, Placing of Amrize Ready-Mix ConcreteMeasure, cut, and assemble in accordance to the specifications providedAbility to read and interpret blueprints needed for concrete formsAssist other carpenters with the assembly of frameworkPrepare layouts of forms from drawings that are providedDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation: High School Diploma or equivalentRequired Work Experience: Experience preferably with formwork and on commercial or industrial projects.Required Training/Certifications: Journeyman to Red Seal certification is considered an asset but not required.Travel Requirements: Must have ability to travel to multiple worksite locationsAdditional Requirements:Experience in concrete finishing, sacking and pouring is considered an assetReliable transportationWilling to work overtime and Saturday shifts if neededTeam Player and safety orientatedCommunicates well with others and to their superiorsCSTS-09 and other safety certificates are considered asset.Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
