- Support the Water Group and Division Manager with the expansion of Associated’s Conveyance business in BC.
- Work with senior staff to identify project opportunities, lead proposal development, and manage project execution.
- Mentor Junior and Intermediate Engineers and Technologists.
- Assist the Water Group and Division managers with the resourcing of projects, business planning, revenue forecasting and career planning.
- Lead the Vancouver Water Division’s Conveyance Practice. This may include: Early identification and development of project opportunities through market intelligence and networking; Developing teaming relationships with specialist consultants and other partners to support proposal strategies.
- Lead the Pursuit, Design and Delivery of Conveyance projects and pursuits that may include: Large Diameter Water Mains, Forcemains, Gravity Sewers, Water, Wastewater and Drainage Pump stations, Trenchless projects.
- Involvement in the Civil Design for Reservoirs, Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities, and associated Valve Chambers and Hydraulic Control Structures.
- Participate in the recruitment of additional engineers and technologists as required.
- Connect and work with your colleagues across the country to support project resourcing and to build your network.
- Participate and take leadership role in Discipline Interest Groups and Communities of Practice.
- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post secondary institution.
- Registered with EGBC as a P.Eng.
- 10+ years of experience in conveyance design, engineering, construction and management of which a minimum of 5 years is in a consulting capacity.
- Consulting and/or professional experience in B.C. is an asset.
- Experience in business development in both private and public sectors.
- Experience in liaising with clients, contractors, and other consultants.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring staff.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Committed team player and an independent worker.
- Ability to travel across Canada.
- Possess a valid driver's licence.
