We offer an attractive compensation package with benefits.The OpportunityThe Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to support rapid workforce ramp-up at the London site. This role leads end-to-end recruitment for a diverse range of positions, including salaried professionals, high-volume hourly production employees, and skilled trades.You will play a critical role in building the foundation of our workforce by identifying, attracting, and securing top talent aligned with operational start-up timelines and business growth objectives.This is a 12-month contract position, with the potential for extension based on business needs.This posting is for a newly created position to support our continued growth.What You Will Do
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, salaried, skilled trades, technical, and high-volume production roles
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to understand workforce planning needs and develop effective recruitment strategies aligned with start-up timelines
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates in competitive manufacturing labour markets
  • Coordinate and conduct candidate screening interviews
  • Facilitate interview scheduling and support hiring teams throughout the selection process
  • Manage job postings across various platforms including job boards, social media, and community employment networks
  • Build talent pipelines for critical and high-turnover roles in anticipation of ramp-up hiring demands
  • Participate in job fairs, community outreach, and recruitment events as required
  • Ensure recruitment practices are compliant with the Employment Standards Act, 2000, Human Rights Code, and applicable accessibility legislation
  • Maintain accurate candidate records
  • Support onboarding coordination to ensure a positive candidate experience from offer acceptance through start date
  • Track recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring volumes
May include other related duties as required, provided such duties are reasonable and consistent with the employee's qualifications and role responsibilities.What You Bring
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
  • Experience recruiting within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Demonstrated success managing high-volume recruitment initiatives
  • Knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Knowledge of full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support leaders and employees at all levels
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Assets
  • Conversation-level French language
  • Experience in start-up recruitment environments
  • Experience with international mobility and immigration processes
What We OfferCompensationThe expected base salary range for this position is $56,880 - $85,320 per year.Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors permitted by law.Benefits & Work Environment
