
Payroll & Accounts Receivable Administrator

- Oversee and execute full-cycle Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) processes.
- Process payroll for a team of 35-50 employees using PayWorks software.
- Prepare, review, and input employee timesheets (both handwritten and typed).
- Facilitate EFT payments to vendors and manage employee expense reimbursements.
- Accurately input and track A/R invoices and receipts while monitoring and following up on aging accounts.
- Prepare statutory declarations and documents for holdback releases.
- Assist in year-end reporting and preparation for the accountant.
- Provide support for HR-related activities, including benefits administration.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a bookkeeping/payroll role, preferably within the construction or a similar industry.
- Proficiency in SAGE accounting software is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems such as PayWorks is desired.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping practices, payroll processing, and general office administration.
- Post-secondary diploma in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or a related field is an asset.
