Fortress Fencing is looking for two carpenters to work on different projects in the Lower Mainland

Job requirements:

Language

English

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years. Hand tools.

Worksite environment

Noisy, Dusty, Confined spaces, Outdoors

Work setting

Maintenance and repair. Commercial, residential, and fencing

Own tools/equipment

Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles

Tasks

-Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.

-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials

-Installation of cedar wood fencing

-Loan, unload and transport materials

-Mix, pour, and spread materials

Transportation/travel information

-Willing to travel regularly

Work conditions and physical capabilities

Bending, crouching, kneeling

A combination of sitting, standing, walking

Handling heavy loads and large workload

Physically demanding and tight deadlines
