
Treasury Analyst

- Perform cheque runs, process wire transfers, EFT and online tax payments.
- Recommend foreign exchange risk mitigation strategies, and execute foreign exchange as required for the consolidated group
- Identify opportunities to streamline cash management processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor bank fees, analyze bank statements, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes and provide recommendations for improving cash management.
- Support continuous improvement, implementing changes that improve personal and team effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in treasury operations or related roles, preferably within a large public company or the manufacturing industry.
- Solid understanding of cash management principles, financial instruments, and risk management techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
- High ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
- Competitive base salary with an annual bonus opportunity. The typical salary range for this position is $74,800-$87,900, may vary depending on location, education, and relevant experience.
