- Distributing work assignments and ensuring employees are completing tasks timely and accurately as required by Management.
- Assisting in providing on-the-job training as directed by Management.
- Leading team meetings on a daily basis and track team performance metrics.
- Enforce compliance with client procedure and work instructions on the warehouse floor.
- Conduct "over-the-shoulder" audits of receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and checking processes to catch errors before dispatch.
- Conduct routine floor checks to verify correct product handling and documentation.
- Record results of floor audits and maintain accurate record filing systems. Share audit results with Operations and Quality Management.
- Immediately address and communicate deviations from customer processes to CEVA Operations and Quality Management.
- Support implementation of containment actions and corrective actions initiated by the Quality Supervisor.
- Monitor workflow and propose process improvement to CEVA management to prevent bottlenecks and delays.
- Ensure shift handovers are properly conducted to avoid any errors.
- Monitor picking/checking accuracy and inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify root causes of errors at operational level.
- Escalate recurring issues to Quality and Operations Supervisors.
- Assist in closing CAPAs within agreed timelines.
- Provide real-time coaching to warehouse associates on correct quality processes for assigned customers and performance standards.
- Report daily operational performance and quality metrics to the Quality Supervisor.
- Assist in training new hires on client-specific procedures and necessary requirements in collaboration with Operations Management.
- Assist on-site customer and quality assurance representatives.
- Support achievemnt of customer expectations of quality, safety, service and value criteria.
- Maintain quality performance data supporting QA Metrics tracking and performance improvement.
- Promote a culture of accountability and quality ownership.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Knowledgeable on implementing customer quality procedures and internal company procedures on the shop floor.
- Familiar with OHSA and WHIMIS, Third Party Warehousing, Materials Management, Logistics, Auditing and Customer Service.
- Ability to understand, maintain and support quality standards and procedures.
- Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and effectively presenting information and responding to questions from management, employees and vendors.
- Ability to meet and exceed customers' expectations while working in a professional manner.
- Ability to promote the company Environment Quality, Safety and Corporate Sustainability policies.
- Support, motivate and assist other team members in maintaining Quality Assurance standards.
- Positively interact with customers, suppliers, peers and employees influencing positive results.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years related experience.
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in a supervisory role preferred.
