- Fully supports the Heath, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) programs by participating in their implementation, maintenance and enforcements well as compliance with Corporate programs and policies
- Takes proper samples from the circuit, trucks and railcars and performs production Quality Control tests required to ensure that quality standards are being met
- Collects and performs testing on product samples for moistures and densities
- Assists with the installation, relocation, and testing of equipment
- Sets up and operates typical mobile mining equipment – including but not limited to loader, back-hoe, grader track mobile and utility trucks to move ore or waste or to support other mine activities
- Performs required pre-use shift inspection of mobile equipment
- Operates crushers, cleans, inspects, and monitors equipment
- Maintains, repairs, fuels, and lubricates equipment as required and as per the manufacturer’s recommendations on a regular basis
- Performs other equipment operation and routine maintenance duties
- Maintains good housekeeping and 5S practices of crusher, floatation & drying building, silos, trucks, and work areas
- Perform other duties as may be required and assigned by the Leader or Staff Supervisor
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle is required
- Preferably 1-2 years in a Mineral processing facility
- Basic Mill Common Core considered an asset
- AZ/DZ Driver’s License considered an asset
- Previous experience operating a loader, crusher and/or grader considered an asset
- Forklift Training and Certification considered an asset
- First Aid Certification considered an asset
- Strong communication skills required
