This includes assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating therapy care plans on both an individual and group basis, for an assigned number of residents. Provides clinical work direction and coordinates tasks related to the provision of care and instructs Rehabilitation Assistants with the transfer of function.QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And Experience
  • Graduation from a recognized university program in Occupational Therapy. Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as an Occupational Therapist;
  • Two (2) years' recent related experience; and
  • Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
Skills And Abilities
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively, especially clients with frailty, or complex physical and mental health needs.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to travel between various sites.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position (lifting and moving residents safely).
