Job DescriptionAs a Counter Salesperson, you will provide sales support and exceptional customer service to walk-in customers at our Profit Center counters. Your primary responsibilities include:
Assist customers with purchases, product inquiries, and recommendations while driving sales growth through counter merchandising and product promotion
Process sales orders, returns, and warranty claims in compliance with company procedures
Maintain a clean, well-stocked counter area and manage inventory levels
Collaborate with Inside and Outside Sales teams to support overall sales efforts
Resolve customer concerns and complaints effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of customer service or counter sales experience
Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in operating sales software and processing orders
Strong math skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of plumbing and building products preferred
Experience with Trend, Eclipse, Word, Excel, and Outlook an asset
