- Leading designs for the replacement or rehabilitation of standard/major bridges, culverts and pedestrian bridges.
- Managing teams in the analysis, design, evaluation and preparation of drawings and contract documents.
- Advancing projects through the planning, concept, design, and construction phases.
- Preparing technical reports, modelling and design calculations
- Providing guidance, including mentoring, and instruction, to junior staff.
- Engaging in a collaborative work environment with your team as well as other disciplines and offices.
- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in bridge engineering within the consulting industry.
- Experience working Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel throughout Alberta.
