We are currently looking for a Senior Controls Engineer that is looking for their next adventure! This is a job that does require a lot of travel between Canada and the USA - if you enjoy meeting new people and creating change, this could be for you!What's the Job?

Lead multi-site controls system modernization and equipment automation, migrating from legacy platforms to current technologies such as Rockwell FactoryTalk and Inductive Ignition.
Collaborate with integrators to specify, design, test, and implement automation and control systems including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, safety systems, and industrial networks.
Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of automation upgrades, control panel retrofits, and network architecture improvements.
Develop and maintain process control systems, manage contractors, and provide strategic controls support across multiple plants.
Interface with corporate IT to ensure automation systems align with infrastructure standards and participate in project planning and scheduling.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology diploma.
Ability to travel from Canada to the USA
Minimum of 5 years of industrial automation experience, including control system migration, design, and plant operations support.
Hands-on commissioning and start-up experience in large-scale projects (greater than $10M).
Expertise in Rockwell Automation (RSView32, FactoryTalk) and Inductive Ignition platforms.
Strong knowledge of PLC logic, HMI screens, servo motion control, safety PLC systems, and industrial Ethernet networking.
