This position is required to support CLIC, CUMIS, and The Edge Benefits business.How you will create impact:
- Managing daily workflow for staff and identify for key tasks that meets service level.
- Complete and review all in-house audits completed by New Business Administration team and approve recommendations.
- Conduct Quality control audits quarterly and perform analysis of results, identifying trends and creating associated coaching/training programs.
- Act as a Resource for New Business Administrators, New Business Assistants, Underwriters, Change Reps, New Business Service Reps and other departments.
- Ensure consistent application of established procedures as set by Manager while ensuring client service standards are being met
- Provide continuous feedback and updates to management on development of team members, concerns and recommendations that affect interim and performance
- Provide training for New Business Administrator’s on every aspect of individual life application processing on all lines of business as well as all other processes required from receipt of the application to issue of a policy contract. Provide training on all required systems; Phoenix, Concord, Ingenium Systems, Vendor websites.
- You have 5 years of experience within the insurance industry
- You have knowledge of Individual life insurance products.
- You have strong leadership and decision-making skillset.
- You have strong time management and prioritization skills.
- LOMA designation would be considered an asset
- You influence change and are committed to continuous improvement, in order to exceed client expectations.
- You leverage critical thinking skills to identify problems and proactively propose solutions.
- Your strong communication skills allow you to clearly convey messages.
- You’re an effective team player who shares knowledge to support our peers.
