Store Manager - Promenade MallShowcase “Home of the Hottest Trends” brings the world’s most exciting products to life through high energy stores, interactive demos and a fast paced sales environment.This Store Manager role is a maternity leave contract beginning in May, with strong potential for extension or long term opportunity based on performance and business needs.This is an ideal opportunity for a self-starter who thrives on ownership, can operate independently, and is motivated to build and grow a lower volume store through strong sales leadership and execution.What we’re looking forAt Showcase, the Store Manager role will awaken and foster your entrepreneurial spirit. A natural leader who is able to wear many hats while managing, engaging and inspiring team members.Reporting to your District Manager, you are responsible for driving sales performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience.What you’ll be doingAccountable for recruiting, developing and retaining top talent
Own and drive sales performance by consistently pushing to exceed targets and KPIs
Lead from the front on the sales floor through demos, energy and customer engagement
Champion a high energy, interactive environment that drives conversion
Take ownership of the business by identifying opportunities to increase traffic, conversion and overall sales
Comfortable operating independently at times while maintaining strong execution and presence
Execute company standards across all store operations
Participate in marketing opportunities and mall initiativesWhat you’ll need to be successfulMinimum 2 years of experience with a proven track record in specialty retail, preferably mall based
Strong communicator who is confident engaging customers and leading from the front
In tune with social media and current trends
An effective coach who can inspire performance and accountability
Strong time management and organizational skills
Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays
Demonstration experience is an asset
