This position may include supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Laboratory Technology, holding a practicing (non-temporary) license and in good standing with the New Brunswick Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists
  • A minimum of three (3) years of progressive related experience. Demonstrated supervisory abilities may be required.
  • Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
  • Ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Good work record.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Medical Laboratory Technologist 3 is responsible for:
  • Performing routine and specialized procedures and/or supervising this work
  • Providing clinical consultations and guidance
  • Training and providing support to staff
  • Monitoring quality control and troubleshooting problems
  • Developing, evaluating and implementing procedures and equipment
  • Developing and monitoring maintenance programs
  • Inventory Control
