Quality Control Supervisor

• Minimum 3 years of quality control experience, with 1 - 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing change.
• Strong background in planning, goal setting, and project management.
• University Degree or Technical Diploma in a relevant field preferred.
• Knowledge of lumber manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a talent for building effective partnerships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Execute the divisional quality control program, oversee end products and processes, analyze performance, and implement improvement plans.
• Resolve quality issues, participate in long-term planning, and support innovative ideas.
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems and develop new products and procedures.
• Ensure safe operation, eliminate safety hazards, and deliver the mill's safety program.
• Work with government representatives on compliance matters and support the Joint Health Safety Committee.
• Develop monitoring programs, analyze quality control information, and communicate variances.
• Identify improvements and stay updated on industry practices and equipment.
• Support employee development, oversee daily activities, and ensure consistent application of policies.
• Build diverse teams and foster an inclusive culture.
