- Minimum 3 years of quality control experience, with 1 - 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing change.
- Strong background in planning, goal setting, and project management.
- University Degree or Technical Diploma in a relevant field preferred.
- Knowledge of lumber manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a talent for building effective partnerships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Execute the divisional quality control program, oversee end products and processes, analyze performance, and implement improvement plans.
- Resolve quality issues, participate in long-term planning, and support innovative ideas.
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and develop new products and procedures.
- Ensure safe operation, eliminate safety hazards, and deliver the mill's safety program.
- Work with government representatives on compliance matters and support the Joint Health Safety Committee.
- Develop monitoring programs, analyze quality control information, and communicate variances.
- Identify improvements and stay updated on industry practices and equipment.
- Support employee development, oversee daily activities, and ensure consistent application of policies.

- You’ll earn a competitive salary based on your skills and experience. The expected base salary range for this position is $80,250 to $107,000 per year.
