About Our Client
Our client is sourcing a Manager Internal Audit and Financial Controls for a 24-month contract.About the Opportunity
  • Lead and manage the ICFR program in alignment with NI 52-109 CEO/CFO certification requirements.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of ICFR documentation (RCMs, process narratives, control inventories) and execute walkthroughs, TOD and TOE.
  • Partner with Finance and business leaders to design, implement, and embed effective financial reporting controls.
  • Lead internal audit engagements end-to-end, from risk-based planning through reporting and follow-up on management action plans.
  • Coordinate with external auditors on ICFR scope, documentation, and testing, and provide clear status updates to senior management.
About You
  • CPA designation (CIA or other relevant certifications considered an asset).
  • 5+ years of experience in Internal Audit, ICFR/SOX compliance, or financial controls in public or complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of NI 52-109, COSO, and financial reporting governance.
  • Proven experience with RCMs, process documentation, and control testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
