- Responsible for supporting and coordinating the configuration and master data set up on Workday system for local configuration of payroll, benefits and time and absence modules (ie. creating/editing plans and eligibility rules, configuring Open Enrollment, updating union rate tables, etc.).
- Lead & coordinate the local testing of Workday in NA for system changes, upgrades and enhancements, troubleshoot system issues and act as key point of contact for escalated Workday issues and NA specific local configuration.
- Support inbound and outbound Workday integrations by liaising with external vendors and consultants on the maintenance and optimization of existing integrations, leading new integration or change requests, monitoring file submissions, troubleshooting errors, and updating schedules.
- Neocase System administration, configuration, and reporting. Updating categories, rules, business processes, uploading knowledge base articles and creating automation and efficiencies within the tool.
- Act as main point of contact to execute standard HR recurring reporting requests from internal and external customers, including legislative and government reporting, headcount reporting, HR scorecards and Global Social Reporting.
- Provide reporting and presentation support for our annual cycles including Performance Management, Let’s Talk Talent and Calibrations, as well as D&I initiatives.
- Creating and presenting complex data analysis and relevant trends in clear, succinct reports, charts and graphs to key stakeholders.
- Proactively reviewing HQ created Workday reports and dashboards and presenting them to the local P&E teams to advise on their relevance and usefulness and liaising with HQ on NA reporting needs to influence catalogue.
- Leverages knowledge of delivered Workday/HQ reporting library and reporting functionality to minimize instances of custom report development and decrease ongoing report maintenance.
- Ensures new and existing custom reports are optimized for peak performance and proactively monitor reports for error, omission or improvement.
- Promotes reporting automation, self-serve consumption, and the culture of data-driven decision making.
- Takes an active role to help influence and transform the P&E function to be more digitally focused while enabling the employee experience.
- Serve as a steward of user experience and a technical resource for the Workday & Neocase system; developing support materials and user guides.
- Documents and maintains operational procedures relating to processes and integrations.
- Participate as a key functional resource on HRIS projects and other special projects within the HR team.
- Identifying errors and deficiencies, seeking new practices, tools or methods to obtain process improvements in how work is performed and managed in an effort to create efficiencies and enhance the employee experience
- Strong analytical & diagnostic skills with an aptitude and passion for process improvement.
- Ability to data mine and synthesize large amounts of data in different formats/structures and identify key trends.
- Ability to explain data to a non-technical audience and make data consumable for decision making in a logical and concise manner.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and report generation tools
- Critical skills include attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, problem solving, project/time management with ability to meet stringent deadlines.
- Experience with Workday and Report creation.
- Required Bachelor’s degree (Business, Computer/Data Science)
- Required 5 years of previous experience in HRIS
