Required Qualifications:Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields. Diploma or certificate from a recognized office or secretarial administrative program, experience with medical terminology. Minimum 2 years' experience in a health care environment; preferably at an Admin IV level and in a continuing care setting. Experience with AHS technology and systems including e-people and iexpense. Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Payroll experience and data entry experience. The successful candidate will have effective time management and organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner and is goal oriented. You will be customer service focused, have well developed communication skills, and are confident with a positive attitude. You will also have clear enunciation over the telephone and will provide a respectful, caring, professional service. The candidate must possess excellent formatting, grammar, syntax, and proofreading skills. You will also have accurate data entry skills with a minimum typing speed of 60 WPM.
