We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools and technologies. - Design and develop integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools and technologies, such as SAP PI/PO, and SAP API Management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and testing plans.
- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and developers to ensure that integration solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
- Conduct technical evaluations and provide recommendations for new integration projects.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as Basis, security, and database administrators, to ensure that integration solutions are properly implemented and supported.
- Manage and maintain APIs across the organization, including API design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure API security, scalability, and reliability, and enforce API governance policies and standards.
- Monitor API performance and usage and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools and technologies and recommend improvements to our integration architecture and processes.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that integration solutions are properly integrated with other systems and processes.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide 24/7 production support for critical integration solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools and technologies, including SAP PI/PO and SAP API Management.
- Strong understanding of SAP BTP Integration Suite architecture and design principles.
- Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite development tools, such as SAP Process Integration and programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy Script and ABAP.
- Experience with API management and integration architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and SAP HANA is a plus.
- Masters degree in computer science or related field would be an asset
