Darling is committed to environmental sustainability, superior quality and excellent customer service.POSITION SUMMARY:Reporting directly to the Supervisor of Customer Service, the Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for responding to external customer inquiries and resolving requests in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong multitasking abilities while supporting both the Logistics Supervisors and Sales Department.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Respond to customer inquiries received via telephone, email, or written correspondence politely and promptly
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and service requests efficiently
  • Analyze customer concerns to determine the most appropriate and effective resolution
  • Support DICI commitment to excellence in customer service
  • Perform administrative duties, including reporting and data entry and review
  • Engage with both new and existing customers regarding new products and renewal opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least 1-year minimum of experience in customer service an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous call center experience preferred
  • Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone
  • Excellent multitasking and time management abilities
  • Ability to troubleshoot in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to de-escalate customer concerns in a tense situation
  • Ability to maintain positive and fact-based responses and exercise self-awareness under pressure
  • Own transportation (no city transportation in the area)
