- Assist in day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
- Dishwashing
- Support kitchen operations in a professional manner.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served to the highest standard.
- Provide guest courtesy when appropriate.
- Perform basic food preparation, including vegetables and snacks.
- Maintain a healthy, safe, and sanitized work area.
- Clean kitchen equipment and facilities (tables, floors, etc.).
- Inspect food and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Ensure your station is manned and supplies are fully stocked.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Follow Health, Safety, and Environment Management System requirements.
- Demonstrate a professional attitude toward all company health, safety, and environment initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
- Valid Food Safety Certificate is required.
- 1 or more years of experience in a kitchen, camp, or restaurant environment.
- Completion of a college or other post-secondary program in cooking is considered an asset.
- Professional oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, both supervised and unsupervised.
