Role and ResponsibilitiesEnable developers to operate highly available, scalable, and cost-optimized applicationsDrive reliability improvements for managed services and infrastructureCollaborate with development teams to integrate best practices into SDLCSupport junior engineers through knowledge sharing (light mentorshipImplement industry-standard tools to address evolving needs of internal/external stakeholdersApply DevOps/SRE principles (e.g., SLOs, automation-first)Manage cloud infrastructure, deployments, and release operationsEvaluate/adopt new technologies to improve infrastructure efficiencyParticipate in system design, capacity planning, and platform managementMaintain operational documentation (architecture, troubleshooting)Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotationsSkills and Qualifications5+ years in SRE/DevOps rolesHands-on experience with AWS and cross-cloud (Azure/GCP) fundamentalsPractical experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and service mesh (Istio)Proficiency with Linux system administration, networking and securityWorking knowledge of IaC (Terraform/Ansible) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions)Experience with observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry)Scripting skills (Python/Bash) for automationAbility to communicate technical concepts across teamsThe salary range for this role is expected to be between $86,105 to $128,150 and reflects base salary only.
