This combination makes Dyno Nobel a terrific place to work.What You’ll DoAs the Site Supervisor, you will supervise and manage employees and assets at the Red Lake, Ontario site consisting of preparing and delivering daily orders to customers. You will be responsible for delivering Dyno Nobel’s non-negotiable Zero Harm safety program as well as the company’s financial objectives. Other duties will include:Scheduling manpower and equipment utilization, preparing proper shipping documents and addressing customer requestsDevelop and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external customersPrepare and submit proper paperwork to document expenses, shipping documents, safety statistics, payroll information, and others as requiredLead employees into all aspects of our safety programs and policiesWhen required, participate in customer meetings to help plan and execute work in a safe and timely fashionAssist with implementation and development of Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and proceduresWhat We’re Looking For:High school diploma, technical / trade school or equivalencyPrior supervisory experience would be considered an assetStrong communication, organizational, and leadership skillsExperience in mining operations, mining-related industries, or explosives would be considered as assetsValid DZ license required * Ability to comply to all regulatory company and industry standards in terms of pre-hire backchecks/verifications, medical requirements, and substance clearance
