- Diagnose and repair on- / off-road and heavy duty vehicles and equipment to meet preventative maintenance schedules, ensure proper function, and meet vehicle safety and quality goals
- Assist with entering data in the mechanic's maintenance and repair database (e.g., Web Fleet Assistant (WFA))
- Communicates concerns or escalates unusually complex or persistent problems to the Foreman or other manager
- Responds to service calls for equipment breakdowns when no supervisor is available to assist in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues arising from the Control Room, Dispatch, or Drivers
- Certified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics license
- Valid Class 1/AZ Driver's License
- 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic is required
- Prior experience with computerized maintenance systems & procedures
- The ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical problems with minimum vehicle downtime
- Demonstrated ability to work alone in fast paced environment
- A clear driving history and criminal history
