- Client has launched a major business transformation of its financial system, driven by the implementation of SAP S4/HANA solution to enable future state processes. The project is in the Realize phase and will be transitioning to the Deploy phase shortly. The SAP Functional Consultant will focus on the Record to Report process, but will compliment the existing project business teams and enable the Business Process Leads (BPLs) to collaborate in executing the work stream tasks.
- The Functional Consultant will be working under a hybrid mode, with remote as well as working from Metro Hall, 55 John Street in Torontoa minimum of 2 days per week. The successful candidate will be working seven (7) hours per day, five (5) days per week based on normal working Business Hours.
1. A minimum of 10+ years hands-on experience in large project/program management with Government jurisdictions and or large private sector organizations.
2. Expertise and experience in SAP S/4HANA modules;SAP Finance, Controlling, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Project Systems, Funds Management,
SAP Certification FI-CO would be an asset;
3. Expertise in configuration of S/4 HANA modules including SAP Finance, Controlling, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Project Systems, Funds Management
4. Experience in delivering at least 2 end-to-end implementations. Implementation in a public sector environment with S/4HANA would be an asset.
5. Experience providing support during hypercare period of a project implementation
6. Extensive experience with traditional and innovative project management processes, techniques, tools across agile, waterfall, iterative methods and associated tools.
7. Strong knowledge of test methodologies.
8. Project excellence spanning Governance, Definition, Planning, Project
Management & Control, Financials and Close-out.
9. Working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager Change Request will also be an asset.
10. Strong Proficiency in MS Office specifically MS Excel.
11. Ability to work in transformative programs.
12. Tenacious and willing to support the team during peak volumes and workloads with various activities.
13. Strong in process management and controls to minimize risks exposure.
14. Ability to lead efficient communication between all project stakeholders, including internal teams and clients.
15. Ability to achieve business objectives through influencing and effectively working with key stakeholders.
16. Excellent written & verbal communication skills (comfortable & confident communicating at all levels, including business partners, leadership and vendors).
17. Demonstrated critical thinking and strategic planning skills.
