- Able to research and analyze information from a range of sources including financial, commercial, public policy, academic and industry sources to be used in competitive analysis, industry analysis, financial and non-financial scenario analysis and negotiation support, and various other applications
- Able to prepare clearly written, quality drafts of reports and presentations for client submissions and meetings
- Interested in growing in terms of sales and business development, contributing to executing EY's “go-to-market” client development strategy
- Undergraduate degree (business, commerce, law, economics or engineering)
- 2+ years of work experience in an infrastructure / energy related field or relevant experience in commercial, financial, economic, strategic, and/or infrastructure / energy policy analysis
- Strong analytical skills and capability to provide quality deliverables with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for a range of audiences
- Strong interest in supporting the development and delivery of a broad range of critical infrastructure
- Ability to quickly obtain a Government of Canada security clearance at the Reliability level
- This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally. Bilingualism in both French and English is therefore a requirement of this role.
- A MBA/Master's degree/CFA/CBV/CPA
- Working knowledge of the infrastructure delivery lifecycle, with relevant experience in one or more of strategy and business case development, commissioning and procurement, transactions, asset management and disputes.
- Working knowledge of accounting concepts and principles (CPA not required)
- Working knowledge of debt financing and capital markets and/or project financing markets
- Working knowledge of capital project procurement models
