- Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
- Lead the end-to-end negotiation and management of contracts for transport, recycling, and waste management services across all US and Canadian Cascades Recovery+ sites.
- Analyze and evaluate vendor proposals to secure favorable pricing, terms, service levels, and sustainability outcomes.
- Ensure contract compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with Cascades standards and strategic goals.
- Develop regional and national contracting strategies to optimize cost, performance, and operational reliability.
- Partner with site leaders, procurement, logistics, finance, and operations to identify needs, forecast volumes, and improve vendor performance.
- Lead RFP processes, benchmarking activities, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators related to vendor quality, service reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement continuous improvement practices to drive operational excellence across the Cascades Recovery+ network.
- Act as a subject-matter expert in contract administration, transportation, and waste management best practices.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with vendors, internal partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Serve as the main point of contact for escalations or contract-related issues across all Cascades Recovery+ facilities.
- 7+ years of experience in procurement, contract management, logistics, transportation, waste management, or related project leadership roles.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing cost-effective and high-performing vendor agreements.
- Experience managing contracts across multiple sites, regions, or business units.
- Ability to analyze data, evaluate financial impacts, and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project leadership skills.
- Knowledge of recycling, transportation, or waste management industries an asset.
- Ability to travel as needed to support sites across the US and Canada.
