In this role, you will be a key member of an experienced multidisciplinary agile team composed of developers, testers, Business Analysts and Architects. You will be involved in the design and in the implementation of the low-latency trading platform. You will contribute to the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) solution that is already in place. Some scripting (Python, Perl) for validation and automation process is also part of the challenge.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable real-time and low-latency applicationCollaborate closely with the Product Owner, the Business analyst, the team leads, and Quality Assurance team members.Understand and challenge the requirements, design, and testing cycleConduct and participate in code review and follow the enterprise code standardsImplement Comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests, component tests and integration tests, to ensure the quality, reliability and efficiency of the trading platformDebug and troubleshoot software issues, working closely with the other team members to identify and resolve problems quicklyProvide 3rd level support if neededMust haves:University degree in Information Technology or equivalentC ++ programming language (Minimum of 10 years of practical experience)Python scripting language (Minimum of 5 years of practical experience)Strong experience in designing and developing real-time business applicationsStrong knowledge of low-latency technologiesStrong knowledge of Linux OS and command linesStrong knowledge of the Unified Modeling Language (UML)Ability to work in a flexible environment and interest in continuous process improvementSense of organization, persistence and ability to work with established plan and deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills and team playerAbility to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and deadlinesGood imagination and creativity in developing solutionsGood analytical and effective problem solverNice to haves:Knowledge of Canadian and/or US Equity and Derivative TradingIn the market for…Excitement - Explore emerging technology and innovation, as well as ventures and digital finance that shape the future of global markets!
