
Executive Assistant and Communications Lead

- Manage and maintain executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Screen and prioritize incoming communications (emails, calls)
- Draft high-quality reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including agendas, minutes and follow-ups
- Serve as a liaison between the Executive and internal/external stakeholders
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
- Facilitate the execution of corporate documents
- Conduct research and compile data to support executive decision-making
- Manage key internal communications channels – including intranet, newsletters, leadership updates, and town halls – to deliver timely, consistent, and impactful messaging
- Oversee all external communications efforts, including public & media relations, reputation and issues management
- Contribute to the company's storytelling – such as social copy, internal messaging and thought leadership pieces for various audiences
- Provide occasional assistance with personal tasks and errands, as needed
- Ad hoc projects like posting an ad for an Executive Assistant!
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar senior administrative capacity
- Experience in corporate internal and external communications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, ability to work with minimal supervision, self-starter and resourceful
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities with professionalism and poise
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Experience in the Healthcare sector
- Familiarity with dealing with government institutions
- Completed undergraduate or advanced college diploma in journalism, communications or public relations, or any other equivalent experience
