Our goal is not just to fill roles, but to create a space that allows everyone, irrespective of their background, to express themselves and grow.Job Skills / RequirementsWe are looking for a Part-Time Security Guards (with the opportunity to be Full-Time) in Victoria BC who excels in both safety enforcement and customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience interacting with the public, handling security concerns with professionalism, and maintaining a friendly yet authoritative presence.Key responsibilities include:
  • Greet and assist customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Patrols of the grounds and property.
  • Able to do foot patrol and stand for most of the shifts.
  • Be attentive to safety issues, security breaches, and situations requiring attention.
  • Emergency response to fire alarms, medical emergencies, and other urgent situations as required.
  • Document incidents using the appropriate software when applicable.
Job Requirements:
  • Valid British Columbia Security Worker License (required)
  • Occupational First Aid Level 1 (OFA 1) - preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and customer service-focused
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform foot patrols
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
  • Basic computer and report writing skills
