We provide legal, financial and employee administration through TMFGroup's teams in 120 offices.Discover the RoleOur team in Halifax is looking for an Associate eager to learn and grow:Key Responsibilities· Prepare and maintain the accounting data· Ensure all client deliverables are prepared accurately and with a high level of quality· Reconcile all portfolio and cash activity to source data· Ensure fund expenses are accrued timely and in accordance with GAAP· Prepare investor allocations and ensure fee calculations and allocations are booked accurately· Prepare monthly Net Asset Value reporting while following the established accounting procedures and controls· Assisting in external audits and tax preparation by gathering documentation and fulfilling requests.· Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as needed.· Various other ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.Key RequirementsUniversity degree in accounting, finance or related fields.· Advanced English skills (B2+)· Previous accounting or finance experience· Proactive task management, inbox organization & strong communication skills· Be able to organize and deliver information (internally and externally) clearly and concisely (written and verbal)· Experience with fund accounting software Archway would be an asset· Previous Capital Markets experience or knowledge would be an assetWhat's in it for you?Pathwaysfor career development
