We are currently seeking an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This position is offered as a 1-year renewable contract with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.What You'll Do

Develop technical studies, system specifications, and electrical drawings for both naval and commercial vessels

Select and integrate equipment across various electrical systems

Analyze power and communication systems (e.g., voltage drop, short-circuit current calculations)

Write clear, detailed engineering reports to support decisions and recommendations

Apply engineering changes to existing ship designs, ensuring they meet regulations and maintain system performance

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team on systems integration projects

What You Bring

A degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution

Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation

Minimum 5 years of experience with 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and engineering design or integration work

Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience with naval warship design or marine defense projects is a strong asset
