Conducting scheduled, thorough, and randomized patrols of interior/exterior premises to detect unauthorized persons, unlocked doors, broken windows, building conditions and/or safety hazards using Vision device.
Emergency Response: Handling emergency situations including but not limited to assisting with response to medical emergencies or assisting with evacuations/shelter-in-place, as well as liaising with responding emergency services.
Maintaining daily logs, completing equipment checks, writing incident reports, and reporting equipment issues (cameras, card readers).
Surveillance: Monitoring CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and controlling door locks to detect and prevent security breaches.
Answering emails directed to the Security Team.
Writing Incident Reports and sending them to the appropriate individuals.
Giving Pass downs to fellow officers to ensure smooth shifts.
Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.
Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Ontario Security License
Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
0-1-year Security Experience.
Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent customer service experience.
Effective communication skills.
