- Enforce all Transport Canada policies/procedures to ensure compliance with PAL Airlines and Air Operator standards.
- Demonstrate and explain emergency protocols to ensure passenger safety throughout flights.
- Communicate important flight information and updates to all passengers and crew.
- Deliver high quality customer service standards throughout all phases of the travel experience.
- Assist with the resolution of unexpected operational challenges and passenger concerns.
- Successfully work both independently and within a team to fulfil operational needs.
- Represent PAL Airlines with professionalism and respect to all travelers.
- Provide first aid and medical assistance when required.

- Must be at least 19 years of age to meet the Canadian Liquor Legislation.
- The ability to travel in the US without restrictions and hold a valid passport (or Permanent Residency Card accompanied with the Visas necessary to work anywhere PAL Airlines operates).
- Must be able to maintain an Airport Restricted Area Identification Card (requires a 5-year traceable history, a clear criminal record and a Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Resident Card).
- The ability to speak French and English.
- Completion of the Flight Attendant Academy or the In-flight Institute Online Training Program – CT201 prior to commencing employment.
- Preference given to candidates with customer service experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, time management, and customer service skills.
- Criminal record check prior to employment.
- The availability to travel away from home for extended periods of time.
- Must successfully complete an initial 5-week full-time training program
- Flexibility to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
