- Provide support for Capital Projects, Turnarounds and Outage by participating in design reviews, execution strategies and coordination of trades
- Effectively coordinate work crews and schedules to achieve work expectations and customer satisfaction
- Administer personnel in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Company policies
- Understand and implement strategies for defect elimination.
- Determine bad actors based on feedback, experience and data, and drive change to remove barriers, and wasteful maintenance.
- Create a culture of problem solvers and action takers to facilitate efficient and effective solutions by exemplifying and coaching a philosophy of mutual benefit
- Participate in RCFA with operations, reliability, and maintenance to enhance overall equipment effectiveness
- Valid class five (5) driver's license
- Interprovincial Red Seal Electrical or Instrumentation Certification or related Engineering Degree
- 3 years of maintenance supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized, industrial setting
- Experience in developing a high-performance team
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, P&Id's, loop drawings, programming logic and automation controls
- Knowledge of Industrial Instrumentation and Electrical installations with understanding of maintenance best practices
- Understanding of industrial controls including PLC, DCS, and Scada Systems
- Understanding of UPS systems, components, and methods of operation
- Understanding of VFD systems, applications, programming, and fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Understanding of networking for Modbus (RS485), Ethernet TCP/IP, HART, Wireless communications
- Troubleshooting experience with complex instrument and electrical systems with a proven track record of success.
