Outbound Prospecting - Desjardins Agent Team MemberLocation: London, ON
Type: Part TimePosition SummaryEfthimakis Insurance Agency Inc. is hiring a confident, friendly, and enthusiastic outbound caller to help generate insurance quote opportunities through high-quality outbound conversations. This role will focus on calling from targeted prospect lists created from our internal database, event leads we have collected, and purchased lead lists. It is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, is comfortable with cold calling, and can stay focused and positive in a high-volume call environment.This role will be structured as part-time (three days per week - 8 hours each day). For the right person, this position may grow into a full-time licensed sales opportunity in the future.What the Role Involves
  • Making outbound phone calls from targeted prospect lists created from our internal database, from event leads collected and purchased lead lists
  • Speaking with prospects in a professional, friendly, and confident manner
  • Identifying interest and collecting complete quote request information when appropriate
  • Creating quality opportunities for licensed team members to quote and close
  • Leaving voicemails when needed, but focusing primarily on live conversations
  • Recording call outcomes accurately and completing required daily tracking
  • Supporting occasional outreach campaigns such as appointment booking or client contact initiatives
What This Role Is Not
  • This is not primarily an email, admin, or front-desk role
  • This is not an advice-giving or licensed sales role at the beginning
  • This role is heavily focused on outbound calling activity and opportunity creation
Ideal Candidate
  • Has a very clear and pleasant speaking voice
  • Is confident, upbeat, and professional on the phone
  • Is comfortable with cold calling and does not avoid rejection
  • Can follow a script naturally without sounding robotic
  • Is organized and able to collect information accurately
  • Is coachable, dependable, and motivated by performance-based earnings
Schedule Options
  • Part-time option: three days per week
  • Hours and schedule will be structured around outbound calling blocks and office needs
Compensation
  • Base hourly pay at Ontario minimum wage
  • Additional $15 for every complete household quotes request with all required information collected
  • Strong earning potential for candidates who consistently create complete and usable opportunities
Growth OpportunityThis role is also designed as a pathway role.
