About Our ClientOur Kitchener based client is looking for an Inside Sales person for their Digital Adoption Program. This is a 9 month contract opportuntiy that will start immediately.ResponsibilitiesAs the Inside Sales, Digital Adoption Advisor, you will help link digital technology companies with opportunities, test sites, and supports, removing barriers, to foster a culture of innovation, so that new technologies can be adopted and implemented into the Ontario small companies to effectively scale to medium sized. In this pivotal role you will guide and support entrepreneurs, start-ups, and high-growth companies. This includes identifying exciting new technologies with strong commercialization potential; supporting industry; and encouraging entrepreneurs and company leaders to aspire to creating globally scalable products and services and engage with third party consultants to support the development of the digital road map reports. Intrinsic to our mandate and success, you will manage your own projects and clients, working within a highly collaborative environment where all are focused on moving innovation opportunities from the bench to significant commercial success. Qualifications
  • Domain expertise and/or experience in any of the following would be considered an asset – digital technology adoption, technology implementation and scaling operations.
  • First-hand experience founding a start-up; building a scale-up; developing business strategies/models; leveraging relevant public programs and resources.
  • Strong network of stakeholders [e.g., SMEs] in the digital technologies sector in Ontario.
  • Strong communications skills, including ability to understand complex technology/science and convey in simple terms, ability to build meaningful relationships with all aspects of Ontario’s innovation ecosystem, including academic researchers, regional innovation centers, industry clusters, angel networks and other commercialization support networks
  • Conversant in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM systems, as well as the ability to learn new software applications
