DELIVERY MATERIAL HANDLERSCLASS 3Q OR CLASS 1 LICENCE(Full-time, permanent)EARN $75,000 - $100,000 PER YEARDelivery Material Handlers work in teams and are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, unloading and placement of building materials onto customer sites including residential, commercial and industrial building construction sites in Calgary and surrounding areas.DUTIES

Deliver, unload and place building materials according to customer specifications
Operate remote controlled picker cranes, rough terrain forklifts and conveyers
Drive 4/5 axle trucks with tridem pup trailers to jobsites ( up to 8 axles) - depending on license classification

Hoist building materials
In a typical day you may drive 20% of the time and you may operate a crane or Moffett forklift 20% of the time. The rest of the time you and a colleague are physically handling (unloading and placing) heavy building materials into residential/commercial structures (construction sites).

REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract
Previous experience driving delivery trucks and operating other machinery
Ability to work at heights (residential rooftop deliveries)
Ability to lift over 100lbs repeatedly and for extended periods of time
Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, carry, and lift heavy, bulky items
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Must provide a satisfactory criminal record check
