- Prepare and submit government reports, Records of Employment, and other required forms and remittances.
- Enter and maintain accurate payroll data to ensure seamless processing.
- Reconcile bi-weekly deductions and prepare related data for payroll execution.
- Generate and distribute payroll reports to relevant departments and managers.
- Coordinate orientation and training sessions focused on payroll-related processes.
- Support the maintenance and accuracy of organizational payroll data.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Payroll Manager, including filing, mailing, and ordering office supplies.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety policies by promptly reporting any unsafe conditions.
- Complete additional tasks and duties as assigned to support payroll operations.
- Post-secondary education in Payroll, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a payroll-specific role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong administrative capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and effective time management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce or similar payroll systems is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
