Job Description:We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our team in Stratford, Ontario. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting various administrative functions.   • Prepare and submit government reports, Records of Employment, and other required forms and remittances.
  • Enter and maintain accurate payroll data to ensure seamless processing.
  • Reconcile bi-weekly deductions and prepare related data for payroll execution.
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports to relevant departments and managers.
  • Coordinate orientation and training sessions focused on payroll-related processes.
  • Support the maintenance and accuracy of organizational payroll data.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Payroll Manager, including filing, mailing, and ordering office supplies.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety policies by promptly reporting any unsafe conditions.
  • Complete additional tasks and duties as assigned to support payroll operations.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Payroll, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a payroll-specific role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong administrative capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and effective time management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce or similar payroll systems is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
