You will be educating and providing quality healthcare services to our clients by initiating CPAP & Oxygen therapy, performing assessments, conducting follow-up service and providing client support while collaborating with referring physicians and ensuring patient safety.Provides quality care by conducting a full respiratory assessment; diagnostics as applicable; assessing and evaluating test results; delivering of equipment and supplies as required; developing respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with the client, physicians and care teams as per prescription and established company best practices.Provides appropriate follow-up to clients to evaluate effects of treatment plan, comfort of client when using treatment and addresses compliance with therapy.Assess clients home environment for safety, identifies and addresses areas of concern, and performs equipment quality control checks on a recurring basis.Maintains continuing education and knowledge of clinical best practices.Responsible for complying and maintaining knowledge of all funding processes and systems.When required participates in sleep duties including initiating PAP therapy when prescribedAssessing and evaluating patient test resultsDelivering of equipment and suppliesDetermining respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians and care teamsIdentifying discrepancies with respiratory therapy treatments and conveying them to the care teamEnsuring the completion of all documentation and form to initiate therapyProviding proper fitting of facial interface for long term CPAP or BILEVEL treatmentProviding follow-up to Clients to evaluate effects of treatment planPreparing funding documents and facilitating paymentDemonstrating and educating patients on usage of products and servicesContributing to the growth of VitalAire by liaising with medical professionalsAre you a MATCH?Working towards to being a Registered Respiratory TherapistLicensed to practice with the provincial governing bodyAbility to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. unassistedStrong cardio-respiratory assessment skillsValid driver’s license + Clear vulnerable persons checkPrevious experience in healthcare field an assetAbility to participate in a rotational after-hours on call scheduleWorking knowledge of Microsoft, Google applications and AndroidHere is why you should joinCompetitive total rewards: Salary, bonus, flex benefits & pension planGrowth opportunities: Upward mobility, career progression, and tuition reimbursementWork/life integration: From standard hours to personal time offInclusive workplace: Bring your whole self to work as you learn and growMeaningful work: Do work that mattersGlobal collaboration: Collaborate near and far by being part of a global leaderCulture of safety: We weave safety and wellness into all that we doAdditional InformationAccommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.
